Q: Why aren't you using your MAC 239 to apply shadow? Isn't it better quality?
A: Sure, I guess. But I'm not using it because the 239 stains way too easily, and Coastal Scents brushes are 10x cheaper. That way I can just buy tons of Coastal Scents brushes and not have to worry about screwing them up. Besides -- the chisel fluff brush I use for shadow is actually really nice! It picks up a lot of color, and it's VERY soft on the eye. The other end is flimsy as hell, but great for lining the lower lash line. I just didn't bother using in this tutorial, but believe me! It can be done!
