Google Glass

OK Glass, we’re coming to the UK Probably the question we’ve heard more than any other is: when will Glass be available outside the US? Well, we’re starting out by dipping our toes across the pond.  Beginning today, we’re extending our open beta Explorer program to the UK. The world sees the UK as a center (actually, a centre) of innovation. It has produced some of the greatest technology inventors and inventions of the last century, and people on the ground are always excited to explore new products and ideas.   So, if you are here in the UK and fancy a demo, RSVP to try Glass at our London Demo Days on June 27-28th at http://londonthroughglass.splashthat.com/ or join the Explorer Program and get Glass at www.google.co.uk/glass.  We can’t wait to see you in a few days. In the meantime, get a glimpse of London life #throughglass in this video.

If someone on the street wearing Google Glass, there is a 70% chance they will get punched in the face and have their little toy broken because it is creepy and an invasion of people's privacy.

Google is so damn desperate. Ever since they killed YouTube I don't want ANYTHING from them. Glass will cause accidents eventually

Absurdly good-looking models in an absurdly expensive city!

I've been testing these for 7months in London and Edinburgh as an Explorer (or weird looking geek head bloke more aptly). I'm looking forward to less stares (at least for the Glass) and more interaction. Price is a little high but on par with the US. These are not finalised consumer devices though, still a little buggy. But they are pretty good. The best thing is when you're with family or friends, capturing impromptu moments. For work they have been great, they've really opened my eyes to the opportunity of [slightly shaky] point of view video. Live-streaming was epic (although they have removed this for now as buggy). Buy a pair if you can, or better still wait until they are released in full consumer version. And don't be a Glasshole!
Anybody know the soundtrack name?

Now, the government can track you AND know exactly what you're looking at.
