Video slideshow featuring images of legendary coach John Heisman from his long and successfull tenure at Georgia Tech. Heisman coached Tech from 1904 to 1919. Before coming to Atlanta, he had made successful yet token appearances at both Auburn and Clemson. He was an innovator in the game of football, but also coached Tech's basketball and baseball teams. Along with his salary, Heisman was paid 30% of all gate receipts. In addition to several regional championships, Heisman lead the Yellow Jackets to their first national championship in 1917. The Heisman Trophy was named in his honor two months after his death.
