The series' opening benefit features world-renowned musician, humanitarian, and photographer Samite of Uganda, who travels the world bringing a message of peace and hope through the healing power of music. Opening benefit contribution is $15 for adults and $10 for senior citizens and children under 12. An opening reception for the Fall Semester Art Exhibit, featuring the work of local artists, Cathy Norosky and Mary Lou Christy, begins at 6:30 p.m. with the opening concert following at 7:30 p.m. Advance reservations can be made by calling Tanya Wilder at 740.374.8716 ext. 2107, or also by emailing twilder@wscc.edu. Tickets can also be purchased at the door on the evening of the concert, as well. More information on the performer can be found at www.samite.com.
