Ben Hyde is a creative trainer and one of the directors of Dynamix, a leading Welsh social enterprise and workers cooperative based in Swansea. With 12 years of cooperative play and education under his belt he's keen to stress the importance of playfulness, risk taking and creativity for people of all ages and all walks of life. He spends his life educating, facilitating and consulting on equality and rights based issues and dealing with serious subjects in fun ways. He also works part-time with an inclusive youth circus charity, Circus Eruption.

He is a jack of all trades: surfer, juggler, stiltwalker, Welsh speaker, volunteer, amateur skateboard maker, snow sculptor, kite flyer, home-owner, record breaker (largest gathering of Zombies, largest gathering of air guitarists), diy-ignorer and fire breather. He is easily distracted.

He taught himself to unicycle 2 years ago so he could take part in a 140 mile coast to coast unicycle ride. Glutton for punishment he hopped on the saddle again and unicycled over 300 miles from London to Swansea this summer with his partner Amy. When people ask him why, his response is "why not".

He will be talking about how playfulness and having a "yes, let's" attitude can change the way people look at the world and work. Expect Marmite Patting and Jazz Parking to feature somewhere in his talk.
