Wo De Airen (My Beloved) is essentially Shampoo's Image song.
I just took the film and added subtitles.
Translation Notes: It is not word for word.
I started with the translation at Anime Lyrics and then modified them. I tried to stay close to the spirit.
For example, both "Suki" and "Wo ai ni" mean I love you. But instead of putting: "I love you, I love you... I love you". I subbed it as "Love you, Love you... I do indeed!" as I felt this captured the intended emphasis better.
My other concern was trying to fit the English lyrics to the music. So for example, I used "beautiful girl" instead of "cute girl" for the word Kawaii. Not only did beautiful have the right number of syllables, but in English beautiful probably better captures the emotional intent of Kawaii in this instance then the literal translation "cute".
Additionally, instead of "My beloved" for Wo de Airen, I made it just "Beloved" only drawn out "Be-ee-love-ed" because it fit the song's rhythm better.
Hopefully these changes (and the others I made) will be acceptable, and people will enjoy singing along to this song in English
