Ann and Paul Kent lead their group Greensleeves in a performance of 8 Gresley dances arranged from their book, Cherwell Thy Wyne. Music is played on CD by The York Waits. The instruction book is a realisation of 26 choreographies of fifteenth-century English dances from the Gresley Manuscript. This book and the accompanying CD are available from the Dolmetsch Historical Dance Society : http://www.dhds.org.uk.
The dances performed are Mowbray, Bugill, Hawthorne, Armynn, Princitore, Temperans, Rawty, and Grengynger.
The clip is taken from a video made by Alan Hartley-Smith for the Early Dance Circle at the EDC Festival at Tring, 2013.
