The COMPASS consortium is working with farmers in the Yaqui Valley in Sonora, Mexico to develop and test a new mobile app ‘COMPASS’ (funded by the UKSA). The app aims to improve wheat productivity by helping farmers manage factors that cause the yield gap between crop potential and actual field performance. COMPASS asked a local wheat farmer about his experience with the app so far.
