A white South Carolina police officer was arrested and charged with murder Tuesday after video showed him fatally shooting a fleeing, unarmed black man in the back.

North Charleston Police Officer Michael T. Slager, 33, can be seen shooting 50-year-old Walter Scott after a confrontation on Saturday. Slager chases Scott and shoots at him eight times in the video recorded by a passerby.

Apparently the police officer said he felt threatened by Scott who went to take the police taser gun. As you can see from the video this is a whole pack of lies and indeed the police is seen to drop something next to the body - presumably the taser gun.

If this video hadnt of surfaced then other police man would have got off scot free for murdering someone. How many times is this happening when we do not have a video present.

Thankfully the police guy in question has now been charged with murder ... lets wait and see what happens with this....
