I have an Windows8_OS It tells me Windows8_OS (C:). Go to your own (C:) drive, next go to the folder "Windows". Now find the folder "System32" and click that. Go to "drivers" and press that. Now click "etc" folder. Last of all delete the "hosts" document. Now go to your minecraft launcher [or minecraft.net/play if you have no launcher] and go to any multiplayer server and BOOM! There! I found this out myself when I had the problem and it worked.

See "Connection Lost: End Of Stream" means, "Connection Lost: Unknown Error". The unknown error is in your "hosts" document. It is either out of date or launched wrongly. So if you delete it your multiplayer will be "restarted fully" [all your stuff will stay on servers]. When you try join a multiplayer server after doing what told it will create the hosts document again except this time it will create an up to date document with no bugs. And then thats it. If this helped you please like! :)
