Check out some of the unique fish species found by the teams icthyologists during their rapid inventory, and discover the positive impact of preservation measures on threatened species. This is the seventh installment in a ten-part series of video reports documenting The Field Museums expedition to the Amazon lowlands.

The Museums Rapid Inventory Program brings together biological and social information to create a roadmap for practical, long-lasting, and locally-supported conservation. During October of 2008, an international team of scientists led by Dr. Corine Vriesendorp of The Field Museum surveyed the Cuyabeno-Güeppí region where Ecuador, Peru, and Colombia meet.
