To learn even more about cued speech, check out this awesome mini-documentary!

EDIT: Just realized that this vid is featured, and I do apologize for my mistakes in this! I basically taught myself how to cue, so the intricacies of the differences between sounds (i.e. the "aw" in "hold" vs. the "oh" in "joe") were sort of a mystery to me. I'm still learning every day how and why I say things certain ways! I'm also learning ASL and am generally interested in d/Deaf culture and community.

Host fam is still gone!

Post Valentinextravaganza, I made this vid to practice my cued speech skillzzz.

Please leave comments, including criticisms/critiques/questions! I definitely messed up a couple times, but it was already midnight. Perfection is for insomniacs; I'm going to BED!

"Dirty Little Secret" by the All-American Rejects
"I Wanna Hold Your Hand" by The Beatles, covered by T.V. Carpio

Go see "Across the Universe", if you haven't seen it yet!
