In April our landmark co-production of Wonderful Town, with the Royal Exchange and Halle, will be the perfect start to the summer months in our Theatres. Our partner company, Opera North, is also embracing the finest in musical theatre with what promises to be an exceptional production of Carousel. And there's also Andrew Lloyd-Webber's Starlight Express and the cult-hit Avenue Q.

Our "Developed with The Lowry" programme in The Studio continues work with emerging theatre companies, and this season we see a fabulous new production of Tom Baker's The Boy Who Kicked Pigs. We also welcome back "Developed with The Lowry" alumni to The Quays Theatre, with Monkeywood's Once in a House on Fire and Theatre Ad Infinitum's Translunar Paradise.

In the galleries, we're celebrating 125 years since LS Lowry's birth with our largest ever Lowry exhibition, featuring a host of work never previously seen on our gallery walls. There's also work taking place right in the heart of Salford communities -- like The Lowry on Walkabout programme, creating events, exhibitions and productions with and for the residents of Lower Broughton.

Looking into the future, we're continuing our relationship with the National Theatre, bringing back their sell-out comedy One Man Two Guvnors for another run in 2013. Matthew Bourne's brand new production of Sleeping Beauty is sure to live up to his already extraordinary reputation for breathtaking dance. And we're also giving you another chance to see our record-breaking festive smash-hit White Christmas -- and tickets are already selling fast! We hope you can join us this season and into the future!
