In this video, NEA Healthy Futures (formerly NEA HIN) highlights the collaboration of NEA local leadership, principals, school teachers, students, food service workers and education support staff to implement a breakfast in the classroom program. There are more than 25 million children in our nation's public schools, many of whom come to school hungry. That's why NEA Healthy Futures works in partnership with the Food Research and Action Center (FRAC), National Association of Elementary School Principals Foundation (NAESPF), and School Nutrition Foundation (SNF) -- collectively known as Partners for Breakfast in the Classroom (PBIC) -- to ensure that every students has the right to a healthy, nutritious breakfast every day.
