Obviously these Caribbean reef sharks are attracted by a free meal. UNEXSO has been doing this sharks feed for 20+ years. To my surprise these sharks also seemed to really enjoy having their snout stroked by the divemaster resulting in them being put in a catatonic or hypnotized state. A state called TONIC IMMOBILITY. The sharks came back for more and basically they did not seem to be very interested in the food that they dive master has in his canister. These dives works to protect both people and sharks by producing a greater understanding of sharks and their behavior. I think through greater understanding, people work to protect sharks from such unsustainable harvest has shark finning. Sharks are beautiful animals and worth protecting.
