Bill Pere's classic Christmas story-song that asks the question "What if there is always a Mary and Joseph living among us?" Bill's multi-award winning songwriting is made even more poignant by the pen and ink drawings of illustrator Aubrianna Robinson.
This song was originally released on the CD "You'll See a Much Brighter Day" and later remastered for release on "Christmas Eve on the Poor Side of Town", along with Bill other classic Christmas songs. Recorded at the Connecticut Songwriting Academy. the guitar Bill is using is the Yamaha 12-string on which the song was originally composed. Proceeds from Bill's CDs benefit hunger relief and social service programs through L.U.N.C.H. (www.lunchensemble.com)
