Manchester City's 'super sub' striker Edin Dzeko must be wondering what he has to do to earn a starting place. The Bosnian has struck six times for the Premier League champions this season - but he's had to come off the bench for five of them.
And the forward's cameos have been valuable, coming on to score winning goals on three occasions and help City keep up with the early pace. The most recent of those came in Sunday's 2-1 victory at home to Tottenham, and first team coach David Platt knows he can't keep everyone happy.
Dzeko will hope he's done enough by now to be one of those 11 players. His next chance to be involved from the start comes this Saturday when his side host Aston Villa.
