How To Download A Podcast Using Your Android Smartphone

*This video is using a Samsung Galaxy S 3*

Step 1: Go to the website of the podcast your interest in.
For example: moodernivintageradio.com

Step 2: Find and select where the publisher has the episodes. (usually there is a tab named "episodes" )

Ex: modernvintageradio.com/episodes

Step 3: Select the episode you wish to download.

Ex: modernvintageradio.com/004

Step 4: Scroll down, to where you see the play button and next to it reads "Play in new window / download."

Select "download"

Step 5: A window then pops up with two options: "Android system / Internet"

Select "Internet"

You will then see a flashing download symbol at the top of your left hand corner. This is indicating that your podcast episode is downloading.

Step 6: Once it has completely download, you can open your music player and find it under the podcaster's artist name.

Ex: Addy: MVRShow.com

Select play and you have successfully downloaded a podcast episode onto your smartphone.

The great thing about downloading a podcast onto your phone is that you get to listen to it at your convenience. If you can not finish the episode, you can pause it and later pick-up where you left off without having to reload the website page and wait until the stream catches up to where you want it to play.
