This is a Machine Vision System implemented for one of the "Pneumatic Brakes Manufacturing Company". This was a critical and the first part to be assembled in the assembly section. The part to be inspected had primarily three main points 1. The housing 2. Inserts and 3. Rings The rings had to be mounted on the inserts and each inserts had different combination of the rings. Only after the rings had been successfully mounted then would the cylinder be actuated so that all the inserts were lodged inside the housing. The Machine Vision System has been developed in Matlab.
