Citizens participated in the Pinellas County 2014 Budget Community Forum April 10, 2013, asking questions at the open house, through the eTownHall blog, through Twitter and by phone as county commissioners and the county administrator discussed budget-related issues as part of a panel that was moderated by Bay News 9's senior anchor Al Ruechel.

The eTownHall, held in the Digitorium on the St. Petersburg College's Seminole campus, followed an open house at which residents met county commissioners and the county administrator to discuss budget issues and share their vision for the future.
