Made in Unity for my graduation project.
This is a technique to display a 360 image or video with full 3d freedom. This can also be descriped as "Volumetric video" or "6DOF". After months of working and tweaking i am happy to demonstrate the current version.
This technique is fast and can even be streamed, no gigabytes of data for a volumetric video.
Unfortunately i do not have the resources to capture live footage, so i made some 3d renders from free assets i found online. Luckely, multiple companies are working on 360 camera that generate per-pixel depth information. So that will hopefully be possible soon.
