Goa, India. 1943. At the very height of World War II, in the neutral, Portuguese colonial enclave of Goa--deep within the heart of British territory--a Nazi spy ring reports to German U-boats, with devastating effect, on Allied supply convoys in the Indian Ocean. The British are desperate to shut down the operation but cannot use overt military force within Portuguese territory. Their men and materiel stretched to the breaking point, the Allies turn to the men of the Calcutta Light Brigade--successful, middle-aged businessmen who last fought forty years before.
