Why are certain collaborations successful and others quickly fall apart? Rafael Wittek conducts research into sustainable cooperation within families, companies, organisations and other social networks. This research - made possible by a long-term Gravity subsidy of over 19 million euros - is carried out by a large interdisciplinary team including sociologists, psychologists, historians and ethicists. One of the researchers in the team is Louisa Firnenburg. She does her PhD research within the residential community in the old RKZ in Groningen. A mini society that has been functioning successfully for almost 40 years.
This film was made as part of the celebration of 80 years of Sociology at the University of Groningen - October 12, 2018.
