I've been the guy in the first part of the song... I've been sitting there with a gun in my hand and my buddy vance called me and talked with me and made me change my mind.  I've now gotten married and started a life for myself.

Wow. Reminds me of 2007 when I got out of the Corps. Came back from my 3rd Iraq tour in July and was so depressed and had a meltdown. Almost ended it that day and woke up in Fort Stewart Ga Wynn Army Medical Center. Spent 2 weeks in the mental ward getting treatment. A month later I was discharged. ..Honorably of course. This pathetic "war on terror" is nothing but a lie and GWB and Obama are still filling their pockets at our expense. Bastards!

to any one thinking about suicide pls don't commit it your life matters I'm my mind every suicide makes more people think its ok but its not a live is a amazing think I may just be a 15 year old kid but I know this much suicide is never the answer some one cares about your life your mom your dad your brother your sister your neighbor the guy at the coffee shop that you don't even know I remember hearing about a court case where a mother was sueing some teens that bullied her son who committed suicide from the bullying she said a girl walked up to her with cuts all over her arm and said whos going to stop me from doing this. that just proves someone needs you some one cares about you. now you might be thinking Justin you have no idea what I'm going though you haven't been their you haven't seen and heard what I have your probley right I most likely haven't most likely have no idea what your going though. I do know that what ever it is it can be healed by talking to good friends good family and not to offend anyone but by having a life with god and if you are offended then you can voice your opinion you can keep scrolling you can stick your finger up what ever that's your right your opinion and this is mine. have a good day and remember I'm here for anyone who needs someone to talk to that they have no connation to in real life

I've been there. 13 hospitalizations in 8 years. BUT I finally fought the demons to a draw 5 years ago. Now, pursuing a dream I've had for 26 years.
