Dr. Patrick Curry has a Ph.D. from University College London in the History and Philosophy of Science. He lectured in the programmes at the Sophia Centre, Bath Spa University (2002-06) and the University of Kent (2006-09). He is currently an Honorary Research Fellow at Sophia Centre for the Study of Cosmology in Culture, University of Wales, Lampeter.

His books include Defending Middle-Earth: Tolkien, Myth & Modernity (1997 & 2004), Astrology, Science and Culture: Pulling Down the Moon, co-authored with Roy Willis (2004), Ecological Ethics: An Introduction (2006 & 2011), Sky and Psyche: The Relationship between Cosmos and Consciousness, co-edited with Nicholas Campion (2006), Seeing with Different Eyes: Essays on Astrology and Divination, co-edited with Angela Voss (2008), and Divination: Perspectives for a New Millennium, edited (2010).
He is currently writing a book on enchantment.
