Jukka Malm, ECHA's Deputy Executive Director speaks about the main findings of its second report on the operation of REACH and CLP.

The report states that chemicals are used more safely, leading to higher protection for people and the environment.

Notwithstanding, further progress is needed – particularly concerning the quality of registration and classification data on chemicals submitted by companies.
