Cotton producers need relief, and they need it yesterday. With regards to our gin infrastructure, as the old saying goes, you can cut down an oak tree in five minutes, but it takes a long time to grow it back. If our gin infrastructure vanishes, rural economies will suffer. I brought my concerns today before the new Agriculture Secretary, Sonny Perdue.
