Biog Waltzer started when Alison (vocals/guitar) looked out her window and saw the word SLOW written on the road upside down. No one understands the connection, mainly because it doesn't make any sense at all. Songs were lovingly crafted at high volume between bottles of wine in a matchbox size flat above a Chinese restaurant whilst Allan (bass) was busy creating a moustache that he could lick off and Jimmy (drums) was perming his hair. Since the moment they met, Waltzer have enjoyed lengthy discussions about the numerous virtues of Nutella and the smell-of-disinfectant-vs.-that-of-antique-saliva-on-practice-room-mics. When they eventually tire of these debates Waltzer play music reminiscent of Smashing Pumpkins, Sonic Youth and Blur. Like a skip falling off a lorry, the sound of Waltzer's girl vocals colliding with a thuggish rhythm section and grunge guitars now disturbs the relative tranquillity of North London evenings on a regular basis.
