Young People Fucking is a 2007 romantic film written, directed and produced by Martin Gero. It debuted at the 2007 Toronto International Film Festival.
Many people have drawn connections between funding of this film and Bill C-10 which proposes that the Canadian conservative government could retroactively strip tax credits from films the heritage minister deems "offensive or not in the public interest". The clause in this bill permitting this was allegedly produced after Heritage Minister Josee Vernier met with a conservative lobbyist who told her the films title and plot, then asked if she was all right with tax dollars funding such films.
