I purchased this last week for £3 in a local store, it's the 3rd game in the CJ Elephant series. Sorry for the poor quality video but this is actually one of the few games out there that has not been dumped onto the internet and so cannot be played with emulators at the moment (this is due to the custom Codemasters cartridge it was released on), the fact that it's on Game Gear also rules out my PC Capture card too.

I've played through most of the game now (got to the final boss yesterday) and I must say that it's actually everything any CJ fan could want, it takes the best elements of the original 1st game on C64, the best elements from the Spectrum port (no more 2 block jumping, more fluid gameplay) and the best elements from the 2nd game (big complicated branching level design) for some later levels.

All the elements from the previous games have been worked on and elaborated with which helps to define the series' own identity but also at the same time some elements from more popular games such as mario have now been incorporated which pads the design out more.

This game is easier than previous CJ's (though spikes now put you straight back to the start of the level they are easier to jump) but also longer (6 levels with a Sonic the Hedgehog style 3 stages per level design if I recall correctly)

So all in all if you like CJ games you'll like this, if you don't then it might possibly change your mind.
