This is John 'Vietnam' Nguyen's three [four] part artist sample for UW - Madison's First Wave application

Quick Links:
Part 1 - 0:13 MCing + beat production. "Lost Ones [lament]" produced by myself [vietnam]
Part 2 - 1:55 MCing. "Strengthrough" produced by Robin Thicke (yes that's Steve Moon in the beginning)
Part 3 - 3:47 Spoken Word Poetry entitled "Cello," with an instrumental layer I produced.
Part 4 - 6:22 B-Boying

I'd like to thank Anh Dai for lending his camera, my sister for handling filming, editing, and cinesthetics, and my girlfriend for spotting. =]

I'd also like to thank the Multicultural Youth Project, Kuumba Lynx, and Connect Force for helping me develop my artforms - I'm surrounded by phenomenal people =]

Note: All the lyrics are original. None of the breaking is original because dinosaurs were doing the same thing back in the day (like when Steve was up) and art is manifested with the same essence in different forms at different times.
