In August of 2008, Richard Move and MoveOpolis! presented 'Hostile Takeover', six live performance installations at six different locations around Lower Manhattan. Commissioned by the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council (LMCC), Sitelines and River to River Festivals. Locations include Hermès of Paris on Wall Street, Jeff Koons Sculpture at 7 World Trade Center and the former Fulton Fish Market. 'Hostile Takeover' is a glamorous collision of sexual desire, masculine and feminine and real and imagined worlds. "...'Hostile Takeover' places feminine beauty upon a pedestal (literally) in the midst of the male dominant world of high finance." -The New York Times. Costumes by Teatro del Odio and Gia Grosso. Music by DJ Savage. Concept, Direction and Choreography by Richard Move. Cinematography and Editing by Richard Move. Produced by Richard Move and MoveOpolis!
