This video was taken back in 2007 at the Isaac Royal Equestrian Theater in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine. For over 15 years I performed in their annual show that included quadrilles with up to 14 horses, musical freestyles, dancers, sword fighters and more. It was so much fun! In this video I am riding Max, a Percheron/TB gelding that I competed through Prix St. Georges at USDF competitions. He helped me earn my USDF Silver Medal and we were getting ready to compete at Grand Prix when he sadly passed away. He was an awesome horse as you can see in the video, even though he was SO BIG (17.2 hands) and really wide for my narrow hips! Ouch! He loved to perform and I wish we had more opportunities to do this routine together. This was our last performance together and I hope you enjoy it!

To read more about my journey as a dressage clinician, judge, performer and trainer please visit my website at www.beginthedance.com. I currently perform with my Friesian gelding and an Andalusian/Lipizzan gelding. My Friesian loves trick training, working at liberty, and being ridden bridleless. You can see videos of him on my YouTube channel as well.
