One way to increase fidelity of implementation is to standardize the implementation procedures of practices or programs. Educators can do this by using existing manuals or guidelines that describe step-by-step procedures that teachers can follow to implement programs as they were designed.
However, in the absence of such a manual, it may be necessary to create their own implementation manual. Watch this video for a demonstration of how to identify the steps for effectively teaching a writing strategy.
