Inkflash is a brand-new way to browse and discover books, in a Virtual Reality (VR) environment that runs in your web browser. Launched in November 2014, check it out: http://inkflash.com

Site design and development by Matt Stephens: twitter.com/MaffStephens

The concept began as a 3D bookstore, but soon developed into a social hangout for everyone who likes to read and collect books; and a highly effective book marketing platform for authors, publishers and publicists. Think of it as both a VR Goodreads and a 3D, Virtual Reality Wordpress for authors. (Not just authors but book reviewers, bloggers, publishers, booksellers and book buyers).

Oculus Rift VR headset compatibility is in the works, and should be ready soon after the site launches.

I should note that inclusion of books or reviews in this video doesn't imply affiliation; they're just in there as examples. Inkflash itself contains thousands of books, and thousands of review links from good review sources around the web.

If you write a book review blog or website and would like us to link to your reviews (we show a couple of lines excerpted from each review, next to the book being reviewed), please get in contact: matt@inkflash.com

If you're an author, publisher, book publicist, bookseller, book buyer etc, we'd also love to hear from you. It's the perfect way to showcase your books.

Finally, check out book publisher Fingerpress (www.fingerpress.co.uk), also run by Matt.
