A short gameplay Of GTA IV with the budget Sandy Bridge Core i3 2100. Still, like in BFBC2 , it blew my old phenom II x3 720BE 3.6Ghz out of the water.

The fact that GTA IV is cpu intensive, i didn't expect it to run as smooth cuz for the past years, it has been proven that a triple core cpu ( AMD in this case ) will outperform a dual and the fps gain is quite huge. Having said that, quad is still the best for this game.

However, now that the beastly Sandy Bridge processors are out, even a Core i3 2100 will get the job done if you're into budget gaming.

Btw, video might be of lower quality since i've converted it to wmv to reduce upload time.

Specs :

Intel Core i3 2100@3.1Ghz
EVGA Geforce GTX460 1GB
4GB Corsair XMS3
High Settings
Shadows Off
Vsync : ON ( pls note that the game only caps at 56fps )
1366 x 768 Reso

Average FPS : 48 to 55
Fraps FPS : 28-30

Note that there's 1 or 2 spots which are texture heavy and the fps might drop to 42 or so , but just for a few seconds b4 it goes back to the average fps stated above.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Added Note :
1.With shadows ON, average fps will be around the range of 40~50.
2.With shadows ON, while other setting at MEDIUM, average fps 50-56.
Feel free to send me a message if you're not convinced and would like me to upload another gameplay of gta iv.
