London, England (NTN24) The Center for Economics and Business Research says Brazil overtook the UK's place as the world's sixth largest economy. The London-based research group analyzes the countries' GDPs to rank the biggest economies in the world. The 2008 banking crisis and the consequent recession were factors that led the UK to drop to the seventh position. Brazil's GDP expanded three percent this year, and the country is expected to grow to between four and five percent in 2012. Brazil benefited from the growth of its exports to countries like China and the U.S., the world's largest economies according to the study.
