I personaly find beachstart easier than waterstart. :)

Not really, when you start learning waterstart you really prefer stronger wind since it's easier to get up. So if you're a beginner and not comfortable with stronger winds i prefer you get comftable with the winds first and after that you can go for the tricks like the waterstart. :)

@TrueHeroUnderGod12 if the mast is facing into the wind when you pump the sail the wind will catch underneath the sail and it should pull itself out of the water

@TrueHeroUnderGod12 If you are sailing where you can't put your feet on the bottom, you should be wearing some bouyancy, this helps to lift the sail. Even your harness bouyancy will help. But if you swim into the wind with one hand holding the mast up a little, the air will get under the sail anyway.
