Various clips edited together of a DHC-2 Kenmore Air DHC-2 Beaver Seaplane landing and taking off from places such as Friday Harbor, San Juan Islands, Fisherman Bay and Lake Washington in Washington State, USA (no particular order).
This is where I conducted my seaplane (ASELS) rating with Kenmore Air in the Lake Washington area. The training was on a Supercub on straight floats then I had an intro into flying the DHC-2 Beaver which included beaching out near Bainbridge island.
This video is on the free ride along you get as apart of doing your seaplane rating with Kenmore. The pilots are highly experienced and it's a great insight into how landing in busy waterways and docking is done professionally with passengers. I also saw a pod of whales on the way to the San Juan Islands.
I highly recommend doing your seaplane rating with Kenmore Air. The site of turbine Otters, Cessna Caravans (other operators), turbine and piston Beavers alone is worth the trip. Even the carpark at Kenmore is full of Beavers forklifted out of the water for storage.
