iOS 6 iPad 3 wi-fi "connection fix" for netgear router

Okay the members in my thread linked below have been brained boggled by the terrible ios 6 wifi not working nightmare, that occured yesterday Sept 19.... it cause alot of iPad and iphones to lose wifi connectivity to there networks and were unable to use internet period, on wifi only pads...i made the thread yesterday and happily today we got at least one step further and a confirmed fix for the netgear router wgt624v3 which I myself and countless others are using

I was able to link up before with ios 5.....but since updating to ios 6 yesterday morning my ipad 3 was shot and not connecting to my network at all via wifi.....so here was the ** The solution at least for a handful of us so far

Dowgrade to older Netgear firmware....follow link below this:

you need firmware Version 2.0.21

Step 1: update router firmware thru your router settings
Step 2: go into ipad wifi settings you should noe be able to detect and connect with or wothout password, I hade my settings set at http: Auto
Step 3: go into safari setting and clear history and settings

You should now be connected to internet

It worked for us so far is stable I am actually doing this from my ipad 3 with ios 6 right now, and using siri.......Good luck!
