A short documentary I put together after my July 2007 visit to the National Monument in South Dakota. Hope you enjoy and find it informative.

This video was made after a trip I made with my family. Obviously it is not a professional documentary, as a matter of fact at the time I had NO experience making videos. I take no political sides in this obviously heated subject. I got all information from the internet, which I assumed was correct.
BUT as we all know, history can be written from many perspectives, and we are taught a slightly prejudiced viewpoint depending on who's doing the storytelling.
I have watched the comments posted on this video, many from native Americans.
Many are upset at the government, the sculptor, Korczak Ziolkowski, appalled at the defamation of the natural landscape.

I didn't know your side of it at the time, I was not aware of how strongly the Indians and others felt about this Crazy Horse Memorial.
