KENTON COUNTY, Ky. (WKRC) -- Former Bengals wide receiver Jerome Simpson has been gone for two years, but his legal problems might bring him back. Simpson is scheduled to be in Kenton County Circuit Court on March 3rd for a probation revocation hearing. In 2012, Simpson served 15 days in jail and was given 3 years probation for receiving two pounds of marijuana delivered to his Crestview Hills condo. Earlier this month he pled guilty to careless driving and refusing to take a breathalyzer after he was arrested for driving while intoxicated in Minneapolis. That could be a probation violation. His attorney, Burr Travis, says the charges he pled guilty to in Minnesota are only traffic violations in Kentucky and do not violate the terms of his probation. Simpson has played for the Minnesota Vikings the last two seasons.
