Wound healing and cadherin-4 expression:
Murine glioma cells were transfected with a DsRed-cadherin-4 fusion, which plays a critical role in cell migration during wound repair, or a GFP control plasmid, then mixed with wild-type cells and seeded in a 24-well plate. After scratch wounding, cell migration was followed over a 21 h period on the EVOS® Cell Imaging System equipped with an EVOS® Onstage Incubator using a 10X phase objective. Images were captured at an interval of about 10 minutes (116 images total).
