A MASSIVE Black Poplar tree fell down on our neighbour's house! It did quite a lot of damage, and in this video we clear it up and use the DIY chainsaw milling attachment with the Stihl MS880 saw to cut it into usable lumber.
This time I am cutting the wood into beams, probably for use in a timber framed shed. The method is to first cut 4" slabs and then use a circular saw and guide, to rip that down into 9" wide boards - leaving us with big 9x4 timbers.
