Jesse struggles to take responsibility for himself after a decade of treading water in freewheeling San Francisco. On his final night in the city, friends and ex-lovers gather for a going away party that promises to heighten Jesse's already bittersweet feelings about leaving. Queer Lisboa programmed a first short version of this film in its 14th edition, and it was one of our audience favourites. The Festival is now proud to present the final version of the film. Resuming the very peculiar narrative and aesthetic devices of Travis Mathews' cinema -- equally present in the In Their Room series -, I Want Your Love suggests a look upon the bonds of a group of friends, presenting no limits on the display of both affection and sexuality, and the many frailties associated to them.
