Video and documents showing a pattern of corruption, abuse and witness intimidation by Denver police and correctional officers were ordered unsealed by a federal judge last Friday. Jamal Hunter, an inmate at a Denver prison, brought suit against several officers alleging brutality, targeted beatings by inmates arranged by staff and a host of other illegal activities. Secret internal affairs documents recording the abuses, complete with video evidence, back Hunter's claims.
