This is a excerpt from a sermon Dr. Reverend Leon H. Sullivan gave at Zion Baptist Church in Philadelphia, PA in 1991. He was an influential member of the Civil Rights Movement who also worked to empower Africa, but he never sought to publicly promote his work or achievements. Instead, he just left messages and inspirational words to those lucky enough to learn about him later on.
