perceptual computing sdk http://www.mobilegeeks.com We've been waiting for a Jetsons-like future for a while now, but it seems like Minority Report might be right around the corner. Intel is giving us a taste of the future with an development platform they have just released the Perceptual Computing SDK 2013 Beta.
So what exactly is the Intel Perceptual Computing SDK 2013 Beta? Well it is a platform that give developers the ability to add in features to software like facial analysis, speech recognition, close-range and 2D/3D tracking. They are hoping that we will have an interactive computing experience without having to touch the screen.
The SDK will provide developers with tools for: * Face analysis and tracking * Finger tracking (by camera, not by touch) * Close range hand gesture recognition for both static hand poses and moving gestures * Voice processing - speech command recognition and voice dictation * 2D and 3D object tracking
