Amtrak's westbound Southwest Chief as it makes its way through Canyoncito, NM. This train has a BNSF leader due to the trailing unit P40 #824, breaking down sometime the previous night, while the train was traveling through Kansas. The train is now running over 4 hours late, as it approaches its next station stop of Lamy, NM. There are three locomotives on today's westbound train. Two are Amtrak, P42 #63 and P40 #824 trailing. With BNSF #7690 leading. Recorded on October 11, 2011.
