North American Securities Administrators Association President and Colorado Securities Commissioner Fred Joseph proposes an expanded role for state securities regulators in testimony before the U.S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee. With the nations financial services regulatory structure under heavy scrutiny, NASAA offered the U.S. Senate Banking Committee a series of constructive reform proposals that advance the interests of Main Street investors through enhanced state securities regulation. In his testimony, NASAA President Fred Joseph brought the invaluable contributions of state securities regulators to the attention of lawmakers.
